Choosing Your Major Workshops
Planned six full-day workshops for first year students who were undecided on their college major. The event includes assessment interpretations, career/major research resources, and the opportunity to speak with representatives from all colleges/school at Auburn to better understand majors offered.
Teaching
I teach one of three sections of Learning Community UNIV 1150: Your Major. Your Career. courses each fall. In this 2 credit hour course, students learn how to make an informed major and career decision while learning more about the university experience.
Senior Send-Off
Planned Auburn University's inaugural Senior Send-Off for the class of 2015. Over 450 students and over 20 campus partners attended the event. Students left with information on giving back to and staying connected with Auburn after graduation.
Color Me Auburn 5k
Organized Auburn University's first Color Me Auburn 5k in 2013 and the two years following with the Auburn Student Alumni Association. From the run
proceeds, we were able to establish the first Student Alumni Association scholarship endowment.
